The Jed Art Award is open to any artist working in a 2-dimensional medium. The theme of entered art-work is to be "Fresh Water". Prizes include $1000 prize for the winning artwork, $400 SheppARTon Festival Prize and a People's Choice prize of $200. Applicants must use official entry form.

Shepparton Shorts: Short Film Festival 2009
As part of the 2009 SheppARTon Festival, entries will soon be are invited to show original short films in the Shepparton Shorts: Short Film Festival. A total prize pool of over $3000 will be offered for the best films.
This event has been supported for a number of years by Film Victoria, The Shepparton Foot Clinic, Browns Audiovisual and the Law Reform Commission.

Queens Gardens
The Shepparton Artist's Society annually present Art in the Park at the Queens Gardens in Shepparton as a part of the SheppARTon Festival. The park is a hive of activy during this event which is full of art, music and artists, as impromptu exhibitions get hung, artists demonstrate their skills, and art lovers look for the latest masterpiece from a wide array of local and regional practitioners in all sorts of media. It’s a chance to get up close and personal with “the makers”.
