Lia Hills remembers clearly the first time she felt the power of metaphor. She was ten years old and the sensation never left her. Join this enlightening poet over breakfast as she leads a discussion on the poetic process and assists budding writers keen to perfect their skills. Her poetry collection, The Possibility of Flight, won the IP Picks Best Poetry Award in 2008 for cutting edge contemporary writing. Her work which ranges from poetry to plays has been published, performed and translated in a variety of countries since the eighties.  Lia believes in reminding people that poetry is a living art form.
