 Kate Vigo is making a name for herself in the music scene with a sound that effortlessly sits astride soulful, sweet and stylish all at once.  In the cosy surrounds of The Connection, Vigo will weave together a distinct array of sounds, from Billie Holiday to Feist, by way of Prince and Aretha Franklin. Her eclectic mix of influences create a foundation on which she builds her distinct and yet accessible compositions. Vigo was the highest album selling performer of the 2008 Melbourne Jazz Fringe Festival and a finalist in the New Artists to Radio Award in 2009.
