2011 SheppARTon Festival: Voices Connect
in Partnership with the University of Melbourne
The 2011 SheppARTon Festival will present an exciting array of cultural and artistic experiences to entertain and excite you over the long weekend in March. Most events are free entry and ticketed performances are reasonably priced to bring an accessible cultural feast to the Goulburn Valley. The program for the 2011 event is currently being developed in response to the theme of 'Voices Connect'.
This theme invites people to celebrate our regions cultural diversity and to connect our community to each other and the local lands and rivers in a sustainable, harmonious relationship.
The theme also defines the festival's focus on delivering multicultural artistic expressions based around 'the voice', including choral, plays, literature, poetry, key note lectures and visual art endeavoring to entertain and enrich, while enhancing understanding and tolerance between cultures.
Get involved and keep an eye out for the upcoming 2011 Program towards the end of this year. The 2011 SheppARTon Festival will see "Voices Connect" in memorable events.
We again thank our supporters for generously assisting with the presentation of the ShppARTon Festival; your Festival
